Our soft and flexible puppy, toy, small, chihuahua and breed dog muzzle is recommended for use for occasions when a dog or yourself is at risk without one such as for nail trimming, for nervous and reactive dogs, for those who constantly chew paws, for grooming or for vet visits for example. 

Please measure your dog carefully before ordering. If you cannot safely measure your dog without the risk of a bite occurring please estimate to the best of your ability using the weight guide but be mindful that a dog’s weight is not the best indication of the size of its face if it is not a normal weight for its size and breed.

Your dog can be reward trained to accept a muzzle with a little time and patience.

Some dogs are unfortunately shameless hoovers on walks and pick up anything resulting in extreme forms of stomach upsets such as hemorrhagic gastroenteritis or colitis. Other dogs need a muzzle on visits to the vet, or when nail cutting becomes stressful but is nonetheless essential. In all circumstances we only recommend a cage type muzzle in order to allow the dog to breathe properly whilst muzzled. 

We can't stress enough that a dog must always be supervised when wearing a muzzle and the muzzle must only be used when essential and for as short a time as possible.

Our muzzle is made from flexible plastic mesh with Velcro fastening and an adjustable webbing strap which buckles with a plastic snap lock buckle fastener.

Not for use in hot or humid weather. Not suitable for short snout chihuhuas as it is too big. Try our plastic cage muzzle in XS instead.
